  • Chief of Cabinetry

Russ started in the kitchen business in 1996 when he worked as a joiner for a kitchen company in Wellington. With an entrepreneurial spirit he started and ran his own business from 1999- 2004 before doing some travel and various other jobs before landing in Hamilton starting King & Co in 2017. Russ believes quality speaks for itself, and has guided King & Co from strength to strength. Russ loves to work with customers to bring their bespoke ideas to reality.

  • Operations Manager

Brad is a fantastic addition to our team and has a keen eye for detail. He has over 6-years of experience managing residential house builds being used to having multiple projects on the go. Brad aims for things to run smoothly from start to finish. He also likes to get out on the workshop when he can. Brad is always making sure everyone is kept in the loop from clients to the team. We especially love Brad’s quick wit and how he let’s us win the odd monopoly deal game at smoko.

  • Designer and Administrator (Maternity leave for 2026)

Kaysha is typically in the office from Monday to Wednesday, though she is currently on maternity leave. With a Diploma in Interior Design, Kaysha works with clients to find creative and unique solutions for every client’s individual needs. She does a lot of our 3D modelling and manages our sample library making sure it is up to date with the current products. We love that Kaysha brings a soft tone to the blokey team.

  • Joiner Apprentice

We’re stoked to welcome Grady to our team as a keen apprentice in early 2024. He has a great eye for detail and has already impressed us with his skill level. On a fine day, you might spot him riding his motorbike into work.

  • Joiner Apprentice

Blake brings a keen approach to his work. Having completed a pre-trade carpentry diploma, he is now looking forward to completing a cabinetry apprenticeship over the next few years.

Blake lives on a farm and has plenty of pet sheep and cows to keep him busy.

  • Head of Accounts

Kylie has an accounting background and brings this knowledge to King & Co to keep things running smoothly at the office end. She is the focus to Russ’s creative mind.

Russ and Kylie have 3 wonderful kids, Makenzie, Aleeya and Lucas.

  • Joiner

Bevan has been a well rounded addition to our team in early 2024 coming from Wellington. His depth of knowledge in the joinery trade has elevated our team and he’s always keen to learn more. He loves working with timber and helps to fine tune how we use it in our work. We think it’s just a matter of time before he starts supporting the Chiefs.

King & Co are proud to be Registered Master Joiners.

We really appreciated that once Russ had things underway, we could relax knowing it would be sorted. We’d use Russ and his team again for sure!
